What each model page contains
32 electric models from 12 brands are covered. Each model page brings together four things you would normally have to look up in four different places: the battery versions sold under that name, with their capacity and chemistry by range of years; the manufacturer’s warranty terms, recorded model year by model year; the expected state of health by age and mileage; and the cost of a failure out of warranty.
A detail that changes everything and that almost nobody points out: the year does not tell you the battery version. Manufacturers switch packs in the middle of a calendar year and sell several versions side by side – a 2021 Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive may have LFP or nickel cells, a 2016 Leaf 24 or 30 kWh. The model pages therefore show every version for a model year and let you identify yours, rather than choosing one for you.
