Purpose of the site

sohpass helps buyers and sellers of used electric cars assess a vehicle’s battery: the manufacturer’s warranty terms, the expected state of health and the cost of a replacement. The site does not measure any battery, issue any certificate or sell any vehicle. For France, it also keeps a directory of garages able to work on a traction battery.

Prices shown

The ranges shown are indicative estimates, excluding diagnosis. They are not binding on the site or on the garages. Only a quote drawn up after diagnosis commits to a price.

Garage directory (France)

Listing is free and no ranking can be bought: garages are shown in alphabetical order of département, then of town. A garage whose qualifications have not yet been checked is flagged as such. Some listings were compiled from public sources before any contact; the source is given on the listing, and a garage can ask for its removal.

Reviews

Reviews are checked before publication. A review is only rejected if it is off-topic, abusive or plainly false — never because it is unfavourable to a garage. The reason for rejection is recorded.
